• This role demands deep understanding of compressor and its application in industries
• Interface with Swiss parent company and various departments to cater customer /market requirements
• Development of new breed of compressors having high reliability & mean time between failures
• Develop silent machine design
• Research on torsional & mechanical vibration on rotating equipment's to find solution to achieve specified levels of noise & vibrations including anti vibration system
• Develop alternative designs and testing systems
• Carry HAZOP study / equivalent study for the safe operations of the equipment
• Document trail, test and its retrieval system
• Lead the team on development projects and achieve milestones as per plan
• Carry out analysis of test data and offer recommendations to improve the reliability and performance of the machine
• Develop design programmes for compressor parts for dynamic loads
• Design gas piping for pulsation & vibration
• Design of compact heat exchangers for high pressure compressors for different gases
• Build competence of team members for superior performance
• Maintain a well-defined quality system across the department

The incumbent should meet the following requirements:

• BE/B.Tech with Mechanical Engineering with min. 7-12 years of experience
• Knowledge of vibration and noise control,
• International standard like API, ASME, ASTM,
• DIN etc. for design, manufacturing & modeling
• Knowledge of latest technologies and should assimilate technology
• Fundamental knowledge of compressors, thermodynamics, sizing of compressors,
• FEA analysis using ANSYS
